Well did the mantis storyline got the ship suit the lot! The ship though storage ain't much! 32 hours in....
Just hit level 20:

Probably about 50 hours in with a lot of exploring.

38 in-game days have passed
27 quests completed
28 activities completed
24 side quests completed
12 systems visited
18 planets landed on
306 people killed
128 creature killed
59 elite enemies killed
928 headshots
181 scoped kills (still trying to find a decent sniper rifle beyond the old earth hunting rifle)
83 locks picked
4171 items stolen
12 ships destroyed
10 ships stolen/commandeered
6 ships currently owned

Currently only a few quests in to the main story, and pretty deep in to the UC Vanguard quest line. Haven’t even visited Freestar Collective territory or Neon. Absolutely massive game. After level 12 or so if really opens up and you start to get a handle on the systems and everything you can do.

The reports that the early game is a slog that is well worth the effort are very accurate.

The world building and writing isn’t necessarily the best ever achieved in the history of gaming but it is better than made out in a few of the more critical reviews.

I am really enjoying it, especially from an Bethesda RPG purist perspective.

There have been a few crashes, some glitches requiring save-scumming, and one game breaking bug that I had to use a console command to resolve (I stopped being able to fire my weapons, which is apparently a commonly experienced issue but fairly easily resolved), but I don’t think it is anywhere near as buggy as Skyrim was at launch. And certainly infinitely more stable and compete than Fallout 76.

Can’t imagine the state it would have been if they hadn’t delayed release.

Still hoping they eventually add native DLSS 3.5, though, as even in my high end gaming rig it can have performance issues, especially in New Atlantis and a few set piece battles.

Looking forward to plowing another 250 hours in.

The Razorleaf?

First thing I did when I got it was to go to a shipbuilder and I upgraded everything and got my cargo to 1060 which is an absolute godsend

Yeah I'll do that tomorrow! 3/4 hours and that's me done on the game for the day! Hooked though now.. had the feeling it would take 20+ hours before I got hooked..

I'm old school (GoldenEye, Resident Evil (the original), The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time...

But this is probably the best game I've ever played.

Yes I have because I'm a massive nerd, it's okay but not a patch on Euro truck simulator but the key to euro truck simulator is pro mods, the extras that you get from it make the game huge, it's a great chill out game listening to the in game radios

I love the one that plays 'local' radio as you drive about. Such a chill game.

Great game. If you are in to atmospheric, narrative driven walking simulators, check out SOMA. It is one of my favourite games of the past 10 years. I won’t ruin it by describing it any more than this (and definitely encourage anyone thinking about playing it to avoid learning about the story before diving in), but it is definitely one I recommend to anyone interested in sci-fi psychological thrillers.

I do this really annoying thing where I wont start a new game till I've finished the one i'm playing, anyway I am still on Hogwarts legacy and finally learnt Avada Kadavra last night. Worked out I've got 2 main missions left but still only 67% complete after 42 hours play.
