There are huge container delays coming from the far east due to a global shortage. Add port congestion in the UK adding 2 weeks to deliveries.

Yeah, definitely some games I have to stop after a while. HL2 most annoyingly. Then there are slow ones (mostly in unity) that are the worst. Other fast things have no issue. Strange one.

It’s been a mess this year and it’s not just the PS5. No PS5s, no Xbox’s and no GPUs for PCs.
 
Just a little tip for anyone who has downloaded Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox you can play it today. At 12 this afternoon go into settings and change your time to Auckland New Zealand. Because console release is at midnight in all regions and New Zealand are 12 hours ahead you'll be able to play the game.

Not sure if you can do that on PlayStation

Yeah, you should probably be careful playing Cyberpunk if you've had issues with first-person games before.
Seems as if the braindance sections in particular mimic the red and white light patterns doctors use specifically to induce epileptic seizures in a clinical environment.

Expected that would be the case. However, just by its very nature the game is still going to be a bit of an ocular overload and won't be suited for everyone.
From what I've read, even with some of the negative stuff I think this a game I'm going to love. Can't wait to get started.
 
My mate reviewed CP77 and loved it, but he said its absolutely hilariously buggy. Said most enemies leave floating guns, there are placeholder mannequin type things where there should be characters etc. Very, very rough around the edges, even with the patch. No PS5 optimisation either yet. Think i'm gonna wait a a few weeks!
 
2077 sounds pretty average, idk what is so good about it. Sounds like a bit of a weird version of fallout, with weird sex scenes and keanu reeves

What format are you playing it on? I'm on PC and pre-ordered using GOG but I've not noticed any signs of updates since the initial preload.

I'm not going to play it till tomorrow night anyway mind you, if the bugs are really bad enough to annoy me I've got plenty of other games to keep me going for a wee while till CDPR get it patched to a reasonable standard.

PS4, the original not pro. Install size is actually showing at 'just' 67GB now, yet I had to delete an additional 70GB to make room for the install and patch.
 
What is CP 2077 gameplay like? Open world restrictions or more like GTA? I missed the hype around this game.

Got a bargain on Metro exodus for the Playstation- £6 pound reduced from
£35. It’s nots as creepy as the first game.

Think Deus Ex/Fallout style gameplay, but with a GTA style world and modern AAA game cinematics.
 
Think I’ve figured out why there’s no consoles left. It’s because Sony and Microsoft have given them all away to famous/verified streamers for free.
