General Videogame Thread

I've bought a PS5 after playing on Xbox Series X for the last couple of years because I wanted to play my PS4 games again.

It's mint to be back playing PES 21 and wellying the ball into the net with Aguero, KDB and FFS.

Gonna upgrade Ghost of Tsushima to PS5 Directors Cut and get stuck into that again and then Ghost of Yotei at some point.

Sony and Digital Foundry have confirmed it's the first game which uses PSSR 2 which is baked into the game. That's why it looks so good.

The console update for PSSR 2 rolls out in the next couple of weeks. Once it's updated you'll be able to toggle PSSR 2 on existing PS5 Pro enhanced games giving them better quality graphics and frame rates. Even on non PS5 Pro enhanced games in theory PSSR 2 will improve graphics.

Digital Foundry has been gushing about it saying it's an absolute game changer for the PS5 Pro
 
After a 2 week break from arc raiders I decided to play today,what have they done to the matchmaking,I've constantly been in lobbies where all the rats hang out,shot in the.back after telling me their friendly,shot while fighting the.queen,shot at the extraction point,its been relentless.
I've killed a fair few after shooting second but then instantly get 3rd partied.
Gone through about 5 tempest and 5 renegades today.

Mine seems fine, the hurricane event is great for blueprints and purple weapons, I used a key in the control tower and got two bobcat 3s! Still only level 51 but getting better at taking down arc.

First game in hurricane mode I dropped a blueprint at the extract for someone he returned the favour by lobbing grenades then running off.
They've definitely tweaked it,I've been the ultimate pve player the past 4 weeks prior.
Stats are 8 days played with only 21 kills to my name.
Going John rambo today trusting no-one;)

Was thinking of getting it but was put off by the first one, not enough action and a lot of go over there find something, then take it over there and use it on something else. Got bored, just wanted to blast zombies.
Is this one like that?

There are two protagonists, and you play as each through alternating paths. Grace's arc is more puzzle-oriented, whilst Leon's is full blooded shoot-em-up. I'm nowhere near completion, but it seems to strike a perfect balance.

I'd highly recommend, the series has come a long way since it's inception.
 
After sinking 80 hours and only completing 70% of the game and not even starting the DLC's which add another 30-40 hours I've come to the conclusion that Kingdom Come Deliverance II is one of the greatest games I have ever played.

Can't remember the last time a game for me so hooked in thinking about it when I'm not playing it. For me it absolutely should of won game of the year
 
Hit the wall on oblivion as other than the main quest which now feels a bit rinse and repeat closing gates, there isn’t a great deal to progress on in terms of armour, weapons and anything to
spend all the money I have.

Has anyone played MS flight sim on the ps5? If so do you feel it was worth the 70 quid it currently is?
 
Just downloaded John carpenters toxic commander,I do like a good zombie game,hope to get on this weekend at some point.

My daughter has got me into playing Pokemon Legends ZA, very relaxing way to kill a few hours
