George Floyd murder | Clashes between US police and protestors

People are still banging on about ANTIFA like it's a properly structured organisation, when in fact it is nothing but a nail for the Right to hang their own insecurities and prejudice on.

Yes, there may be a logo or a flag, but ANTIFA as a movement in the USA exists in name only. You can't join it, and it certainly doesn't have a head office.

Below is a list of White Nationalist organisations currently operating in the USA, many of which have identified leaders and a formal membership structure.

they won't listen. Even the intelligent ones.

Taxpayers, despite it not being a lot but that’s beside the point, are actually having to pay for the cenotaph to be boxed off so it’s not vandalised.

Fucking state of this situation.
Seeing the cenotaph boarded up to protect it from our own citizens has to be the most disgraceful and gut wrenching thing I have ever seen. I genuinely cannot believe what I am seeing.

I'm going to say something unpopular here but I don't see why Suffolk Police have felt the need to go on the defensive over this. People are stopped up and down the country driving their cars for license checks and whatever, it's how a lot of vehicle crime is detected. Otherwise what's the point in sitting a driving test and going through that whole process if nobody is ever going to enforce it anyway?

If, as the officers suggest, the occupants of the car were continually glancing over at the Police then yeah, its reasonable to suggest that might make them a bit suspicious, no? In any case, a very quick licence check and they'd have been on their way - no issues and probably told to enjoy their day.

The comments about jumping on the bandwagon were in poor taste and worthy of criticism, but it seems like they've been drawn in to an argument because the occupants have immediately went on the defensive and played the racial profiling card when it's simply not the case.

Spot checks happen up and down the country, if you have a licence, insurance etc then there's absolutely nothing to worry about. I'd rather get stopped a few times in the mindset that our roads are as safe as possible for everyone to drive on, as opposed to not stopping and engaging with people and the inevitable free for all which arises.

Sorry if people disagree, but just saying it how I see it. So longs the Police stop you and engage in a courteous manner whilst getting the stop check dealt with as quickly as possible so that road users can go ahead and enjoy the rest of their day then I don't see the problem.

In my teens I had a job working late and I was stopped and breathalysed quite a few times a year by the police on my way home.

I never once accused them of ageism or for stopping me because the fact is most idiots on the road at night are young and that is usually when they'll catch drink drivers at their worse.

We keep getting these idiots calling for more neighbourhood policing and criticising the government on resources. But what's the point if as in this instance the police have to apologise for doing their job?

99% of people do not give a toss about being stopped, they are just happy the police are doing their job.

99% of people would be unlucky to be stopped more than a few times in their life, but I suspect that the 1% who get stopped regularly (for whatever reason) soon get p*ssed off about it.

HAHAHAHAHAHA, the Daily Mail haven't got a fucking clue. Its an Anarchist sign.

The world has gone nuts when anti fascists are seen as the enemy, only fascists see ANTIFA as the enemy.

If anti fascists are your enemy what does that make you...................??

You do know that Antifa doesn't exist, right?

There's no organisation, no group, it's just a vague sentiment.

Your entire last paragraph is complete and utter nonsense because "they" aren't one group you can ascribe values to.
Does it even matter that they aren’t official and have no head office? They’re a movement with extremist views and it often turns out that public unrest at protests are often caused by anarchists like those who have an Antifa symbol as their social media avatar.

@Rascal

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is democratic isn’t it?

Well they say they’re democratic so they are right?

Calling yourself anti fascist doesn’t actually mean you are through your actions and you may be antifascist but it doesn’t mean the rest of your position is reasonable.

Brain-dead c***s

Again, you're spouting bollocks.

They aren't a movement with extremist views, they're a movement with the view of being against fascism. That's it. It encompases thousands of groups with massively diverse beliefs.

And they don't cause unrest at protests, that's even been debunked by the FBI despite Trump and the far right's desperate attempt's to convince people otherwise.

You've fallen for a right-wing bogeyman, it's tragic.

We've just had an election where this kind of hand-wringing fascism was defeated emphatically.

I think the Government need to take more of a lead on this issue. Obviously, go too far and they can be accused of fascism themselves but the vandals and criminals who are attacking the police need to be brought to justice and that doesn't seem to be happening right now.
