this is a massive chance for Biden to come out and promise some kind of reform - perhaps harsher penalty's for police for any related black brutality. this would really help calm the storm

Not that I doubt that it's a problem (and slightly undermining my previous post about not really giving a fuck about US affairs) but are there any facts/statistics on links between race and police violence? As shocking as videos on Twitter may be, they don't give always give you the full picture when it comes to nationwide issues.

Seems like all US police forces need retraining in arresting techniques
Including those in Democratically run cities
Saw a bunch of protesters who had been arrested ,still with their arms tied behind their backs after 3 hours ,very uncomfortable at best, and very unfair

I have no doubt but ultimately it only serves to distract by focusing all the attention on one person. A change in one person will not course correct the US much less favorably impact the planet & the rest of us
