I personally don't feel given his age and obvious frailty he can mount a sustained election campaign to match Trump. It appears that the democratic party have given up the ghost on this election much like the Republican party did when Obama was seeking re-election against an aged McCain.

Utter tosh on a variety of different levels, starting with Obama not running against McCain when he was running for re-election.
 
I post rarely, this whole thread and the situation in the good ole U S of A has peaked my interest.
Surely they can see that a properly vetted and trained police force is the way forward ?
How they have let thugs and murderers have a badge and so much power is beyond me.
Some of these idiots are tooled up to the eyeballs and are a bunch of bell ends.

Voter registration doesn’t allow this. If there is no record of you living in the state, you have to provide proof (utility bill in your name, paycheck, etc...)

Ok my bad when he was running for office the first time. If you think that a man who will be nearly 78 years old come the election date can maintain the energy levels needed to undertake the arduous campaign you have more optimism than I do. I also believe the Trump campaign has a stack of dirty laundry on Biden. Not a Trump fan btw.
 
So in Philly now the local police jus took the knee with the protesters at the police station

Next minute an amoured car and a load of plod in riot gear turned up.

Will they be state police not the local one who were kneeling in solidarity or the same police.

Americas law and order set up is so fucking stupid.

Well then some questions need to be asked.

I had a 3 paragraph rant that i was gonna send but don't have the inclination to now.

Its mind blowing watching the effing state of the police force and national guard over there.
So unprofessional and clearly escalating the situation in some areas, Northern Ireland ?

Anyone ? Civil war ?

Didn’t want to be the first to bring it up, but the last week reminds me of the start of the troubles in NI.

Personally I don’t think it’ll go the way of NI, because there are differences obviously.
But if it got to the stage that individual communities decided to barricade themselves in and protect themselves it could get out of hand very badly.

I personally think it is more akin to a tinpot dictatorship at the moment.

I still can’t believe how it has progressed to this stage in America and would be reluctant to rule out anything. Even stuff I wouldn’t have entertained a month ago.
