No one else in the house heard the 'announce'. Were they trying not to wake the neighbours? Or were they badly briefed officers who didn't know who was in the apartment, didn't know why the raid needed to be done in the dark; or did they know who was there and were surprised (even in America) that one of them had a gun licence? More questions than answers.
We don't know what Breonna heard, sadly.

They may have been badly briefed, and given that they were apparently under the impression that only Breonna was home that seems near certain, that's separate from what happened during the incident however

The fact that 4 days after Floyd's death Chauvin was charged with third-degree murder, shows justice was served.

What evidence led you to the conclusion that me and @Scottyboi want "more blood"? None. "Charged with" is different from "found guilty" when it comes to definitions of "justice" incidentally.
Anyhow, not that you asked, but yes, I believe there is systemic racism in America and, no, not every post-Floyd case being set up as evidence of such should be. I can't claim to understand the nuances and vagaries in each case and won't try to. It's a case of looking for easy answers to difficult questions from both sides here, with simple blanket explanations (regularly using absolutes like "always" and "every") rooted firmly in justifiably volatile emotions (because people are dying, duh).
If I've drawn any conclusions from these series of events (which I'm not sure I have) it's that a lot of police suck at the job they're being paid and trained to do, which encourages me to think better recruitment, more training and maybe better pay might be partial remedies to situations in which those who don't deserve to die at the hands of law enforcement do anyhow.
That doesn't spell "defund" in my book but of course those desperately looking to find a stick to beat non-Trumpians with jumped onto that like ants at a picnic because their Imperious Leader has given them nothing to work with. Imagine the machinations of those types feverishly looking around for a way to distract from the cult they got sucked into.
