Maybe this is why the UK Terrorist threat level was raised two days ago? Maybe the security forces had intelligence that a democratically elected MP was going to be attacked by a terrorist with links/sympathy to the State of Israel?

The media outlets who insist on referring to Israeli people dying as "being killed" while reporting the much larger Palastinian slaughter as "losing their lives" won't think twice of imposing a media blackout on a radicalised Israeli assaulting a member of parliament because of his beliefs.

What's never heard is the minutes before it when he was praising the Iraqi people for putting up with the sanctions that he fought against and killed 100,000 children. That is who he was praising. Lots of great stuff there, and I'm no fan of GG as a person, but the point you seem to be missing is that it's still not ok to just twat an old man in the street. We have laws for a reason - International law which is usually flouted because people have 'right' on their side, and domestic law which in this case was also flouted because presumably the assailant felt he was 'right' purely on the basis that GG is a shit.
What happened to GG not right, was basically a hate-crime, and the only justification I can see for it is the 'two wrongs make a right' or tit-for-tat reasoning on the basis that GG has been gobbing off and has the wrong friends. If I wanted to live in a country where this is acceptable I'm perfectly capable of moving house cheers.

You need to separate distaste for actions of the State of Isreal from a dislike of Jews/ Judaism. The former is I think acceptable, the later not so.

In fairness Israel are up for the two state solution, they just seem to have a different idea about the relative size of each state. I honestly don't know if it's possible to find a final solution without someone losing out, but that's a whole different thread.

Indeed, Israel will allow the Palestinians to have Gaza as long as they control what goes in and out. They want the rest. That's their idea of two-state solution.
