the game doesn't have to slow down to get the decisions right

the fourth official would have seen that seconds after it crossed the line and could easily shout 'GOAL' to the ref who then signals for a goal

in this case that would have happened whilst the england players were still celebrating and it would appear like a seamless decision

I agree Flower - sweet reason and simple logic would tell us that but FIFA have neither. We will end up the camel/committee/horse confection. The most tortuous use of technology if it ever appeared.
