Germany next to ban the burqa?

They wear them because the blokes can't control themselves, it's to stop them getting urges and acting on them. What a fucking joke

I take it your partner is the gobbling tease maid.

I think it is wrong to expect people in other countries to change their ways to suit yourselves, if this is a choice of religion stick to it. Burkas, freak me out and look out of place in Europe. I would like to see something resolved to make both sides reasonably satisfied.

What a joke of an understanding.

From a religious perspective, the priorities go in order as :
1. Modesty
2. Protection from weather
3. Beautification

I don't believe face veil is mandatory.

Its simple really....no matter who you are and what your belief if you go to another country you should completely respect the culture there. If you disagree with it, or feel uncomfortable with it...DONT GO THERE!

This is why in this country and many across Europe there are problems because not only do large numbers of immigrants have no intention of adhering to this simple courtesy but there are plagues of do gooding yoghurt knitters who jump up and down and scream racist when anybody happens to suggest liberties are being taken.

There should be one law for all in this country and not a seperate one for muslims or any other religion.

Now were I to start prowling round Piccadilly dressed in black wearing a balaclava, how long do you thing it would be before I were refused entry to a shop, pub, doctors surgery, or stopped and spoken to by GMP...not long I guess. The thing should not be allowed here at all.

Keeping women in check makes these Neanderthal blokes feel superior

Absolutely.

I'm a little stuck myself with this one. I oppose the idea of women covering up because of religion or men but at the same time you should be able to wear what you want.
