Germany V Spain

not a bad game. Fancy the Germans, they don't half look dangerous on the break, which is probably why it's not a good idea to concede the first goal to them.

Jerome looks absolutely class, he's had Sergio Ramos in his pocket all game up to now; where would you play him CB with Vinny or with Lescott or at RB with Vinny Lescott and Bridge>???

don't know what position but there is no doubt Boateng will start right away with us. Cracking player.

Alonso seems to be having a bit of a mare so far. As a matter of fact, he has been quite toilet, really.

Is anyone else getting slightly bored of this media and commentator guff about the Germans being clinical, workmanlike etc, etc. They've mentioned Spain's ability to play really attractive football, but I can't remember them once saying it about Germany. i don't think Spain have played any better then Germany. On Talkshite this morning someone was talking about the Germans organisation - and all the usual guff.

Am I the only one who thinks that Germany have played some good football in this tournament? Really good movement up front, some excellent play down the flanks to lay on chances for Klose and Mueller. I think our media has a blind spot about Germany, hence no real plaudits for the way they play, just the usual crap about them turning it on for tournaments, or they know how to get to semi-finals. It's as if the media don't want to give them any credit for the way they play.

In comparison with the money we've paid for some players over the last two seasons, he looks an absolute steal. I wonder what he would have cost us if we'd waited until after the World Cup?
