To be fair Harry going to a Party dressed as a Nazi only made a small splash in the press - Bryan Ferry saying the SS had really smart uniforms and looked good was a flash in the pan and if Rylan gave a few Sieg Heils it would probably end his radio 2 career but none of them would make headlines across the globe. Oh and I thought it was shite, but then I had the preconditioning of hindsight. Can also see how it could have been influential in Germany/Austria at that time.
