I remember watching Joe in a pre-season friendly against Ballymena United and not being impressed with him :)

ulster don t think it was a pre season pal, me and a few pals came over. Wasn t it a mid season break in order to help tommy wright??

we had a great time, bladdered after the match ended up in "the Royal ?" pub in belfast when our digs were in ballymena.

Quite true, it was mid season and Tommy was manager of Ballymena then, though why ANYONE would stay in Ballymena I am not too sure lol, still, at least you didnt book a hotel at the International airport cause it would suit your early morning flight from the CITY airport like a couple of my mates

WOW not often you hear of some positives from Gerrard but this is wonderful :

“You should have seen Joe Hart in training,' said Steven Gerrard.

He just makes world-class saves, jumps back to his feet and prepares for the next shot like nothing has happened. The rest of us are just looking at him, like what the hell was that? But it’s just normal to him. Amazing.

...Steven Gerrard

remembered he made similar comments after the cup matches earlier this year

So glad we have Joe Hart for us :-) when mancini picked him at spurs away he never looked back. Even given New on the bench that's him over at city as first keeper. 2 years later England number 1 Fa cup winner champions of England

This lad could break many records

I think he's got a great kick on him and his throws aren't bad either. When the ball is rolling to him and the striker is chasing it down i'm confident Hart will get rid in the proper manner.

true, but not the same thing as saying it will land near a blue shirt...

I'm of the old school that believes a player should, above all else, do his job. Being able to ping a 80 yard ball to Aguero would be great, but as long as Joe keeps the ball out of his goal that's good enough for me.
