Class player and one of the better lot of English footballers. Despite the odd fight in a club (which we've all done) he is a top professional who wears his heart on the sleeve. Hopefully he can lead England as well as he has Liverpool.

Still giddy and more giddiness to continue, but just seen Gerrard being interviewed after their game, Clearly "gutted" and "devasted" but he had a enough bottle and sportsmanship to say " congratulations to Manchester City" at the end of the interview. My estimation of LFC fans plummeted after the their childish and boring booing, but credit to Gerrard for showing some dignity when seriously pissed off.

It's not really Gerrard I dislike, it's cheesy Rodgers and the fans but I do think he's been vastly overrated this year. He takes a mean setpiece but he's no Pirlo in his new (Pirlo) position.

Rawk is hilarious at the moment. Obviously they have deleted we are winning the league thread now they are going on about how they are certs for the title next season.

Liverpool were unbelievably lucky this season, virtually no injuries or suspensions to key players, no European football and got themselves knocked out of the domestic cups relatively early doors.

They have proven they can't really spend money that well based on their signings last summer. They are going to find it difficult next season now sides understand they can defend plus the burden of champions league.
