have to admit i was one of the first on his back,but since reading reports of this so called mutiney thing by certain sections of the press,we know thing havent been right but have never been able to put our fingers on it,mark hughes has my full support now
certainly untill the summer,i think he needs next season before we can judge him

Ime with you i too have slated Hughes on here but reading the papers today idont think it is all his fault.
Some of the players at OUR club should be ashamed if they had any shame
One way to not let them run our club [these 2 faced twats]is to get behinde Hughes and do what we do best as City supporters stick with the good things that are City

i agree with you. most of our players are playing badly and its steadily getting worse. their heads have dropped and if your not happy you dont play well.

Great idea get rid and the special one will drop everything at inter and come and rescue us...... Not.
We would probably not be able to get the man we want and be stuck with Bowen till at least the end of the transfer window.
What we can do is get rid of some of these back stabbing players who never cared about city before they came here and won`t care about them after they have gone.

It might be foolhardy but you've got to admire Hughes for facing down the player-power in the game. Players force managers out these days and for Hughes to root out the bad-eggs (millionaire little pissants) and say screewwwww you, well I like it, man. We might go down* but its a risk I'll take.

See, I don't quite understand this concept and many pro- Hughes have the same view as you.

Why is it not easier for these non caring players to simply just bang in a transfer request?

So, you would have:

Elano, Jo, Hamann, Ball, Richards(according to many), Garrido, Johnson( I conceed that's probably true), TBH, Dunne, Vassell.

That's pretty much a full team that are in an anti- Hughes camp. They could really screw over the boss with a simple move, couldn't they? But, it seems to me that they're(if any of the 'meetings' rumours are true) trying to find find some manner of working that is constantly rejected, by Hughes.

That's his perogative, but believe me, the players could really make their point, if they wanted to...

I know they way he has turned around this failing club that finished 9th last year spent 60m in the summer and is 3points off the bottom 3 now and having gone out of both cup comps to teams in lower leagues to us(I wonder when the last time that happened was?). Why would anyone think he was doing a crap job?

I have no doubt that Hughes had no say in Jo. Not sure about TBH as he was quiet vocal in saying he was his signing and that he had identified they needed more defenders.

However, consider this. When Jo was signed I was constantly telling people that it was a disgrace (due to the price tag, not necessarily the player himself). One of the chief defences against my argument that it was bollocks and only done because that wanker Thaksin was interferring in affairs, wanting to get what he say as a glamourous Brazilian signing, was that Hughes had categarically stated that he had a veto on Jo and if he hadn't said yes then it wouldn't had happened as he is nobodies yes man.

Now the shout in the press and all over here is 'Poor Mark, having that bastard Jo forced on him by the evil Thaksin'.

Now, that's what I said at the time but Hughes went out of his way to make sure that we believed otherwise. Now he is keen to make sure we ignore his previous statements and see Jo as just another bastard he's had forced upon him.

I'm trying to work out why Vassell isn't 'behind Hughes' given that he's seen the benefit of Hughes' selection policies? Even been praised by Hughes for his 'work ethic'.

None of us really know who was part of this so called mutiny, maybe he was picking him not because he wanted to but because he felt he had no other better alternative.
