I think there is already a minimum. At one point I think it was at 100. I am not sure now, but there is a minimum.

There are two types of 'Bots'. Good bots usually come from search engines such as google. They index the content of your website so that when someone does a google search it will return the correct information. For example, if you search in google for 'Robinho' and 'Bluemoon' it will actually give you results with links to posts about Robinho. This is because the bot has indexed them for google to find.
Bad bots on the other hand usually harvest information from your website for other purposes. For example, a bad bot may actually be trying to obtain the email addresses of every registered user. This information could then be used to send spam emails to those users, or whatever.

Been running well all morning until about 12-30 then the gen error made a return. Seems ok again now though.

Generally been ok, but I've had the usual SQL error a couple of times :
