Getting a GP appointment

I found that if there are no irregularities they don’t bother contacting you. Doesn’t stop you worrying and ringing the surgery to check though does it ?

I mean, I wasn’t particularly worried. But if they say they’re going to let you know, I just assumed they would.

If they’d said we’ll be in touch if there’s any concern but if you’ve heard nothing in a week, assume everything’s fine, I wouldn’t have given it a second thought.

Average time to see a GP for routine stuff in Rossendale three to four weeks, in a medical centre with over twelve doctors.

Forty years ago you just went down to the old (Doc Martin type) surgery at 9am, there might have been four to six people waiting and you were out by 10 most times.

Still waiting for blood test results from 3 weeks ago.

We use "patient Access" request full access to medical records (takes about 2 week) then i can get at test results from hospital even before the doctor has reviewed them
