Makes sense, no one would have him in this country.
I saw it and thought we'll have to call him family woman now.Saw thread title, got excited, thought family man was in exile. Alas.

Wish my son had gone to Benicassim rather than YNot in the Peak District, they're cancelling bands left right and centre due to rain even though Kendal Calling seem to be coping.
Festivals in Britain just cannot attract good weather.
We are going to the Ramblin Man festival today in Kent
Forecast is shit
Styx have been doing the rounds for years with an assortment of old shitty hair bands, I saw them with Tesla and Def Leppard, they were definately the best band out of the threeJust got back from 5 week s in USA, where we saw 3 concerts, Paul McCartney in Miami, Queen & Adam Lambert in Chicago & Styx, REO Speedwagon in West Palm Beach.
No real secret to get tickets, just go online and buy them.
Much cheaper than UK.
A mate of mine used to manage the Fall. At one gig it was pay on the door he filled the place up and fucked off with the money. I watched Mark E Smith get his eyebrows shaved off in a boozer, he rang the showbiz editor from the Daily Sport to save him.I go to gigs all the time here in the States and also manage 2-3 a year back in the UK when I'm there. By and large, the experience is the same. As someone already mentioned, a good way to see some new places. I tend to be into more esoteric kind of stuff, not arena/ stadium gigs, so some of the smaller venues can be in dodgy parts of town. Saw The Fall years ago in Atlanta at a club seemingly in the middle of an industrial estate and had to walk for an hour back to the hotel at 2am through some 'interesting' places and just the other week saw Boss Hog at a club in Detroit that was firmly in the 'hood.
