Gigs Thread

Sisters of Mercy at Rock City tomorrow, Sunday. Not seen them since their 30th anniversary at Leeds Uni.
Brilliant night, as good as ever they were. Only problem? A young lady joining the queue wearing just a pair of skimpy knickers, suzzies, black fishnet nylons, a skimpy top, full goth makeup. Did she not realise that there were 74 year old men around who would not survive the night with her dressed like that? Disgusting.

Yes, I know the rules about photos but my hand was shaking so much and I can't do two things at once.

Stone foundation at Islington assembly halls this Friday night. Just bought ticket to see Teskey brothers in London next year

I went to a concert last week, turned up without a ticket as the computer kept taking me to one of these third party ticket agencies. I was first in line at the box office and they said I had to download ’seatgeek’ on my phone and order the ticket like that, I was so pissed I made the woman at the desk do it for me, they just wouldn’t sell me a paper ticket. I won’t be going there again

Got tickets for Paul Weller at Dunfermline
Not his greatest fan but its a lovely wee venue.
Only other gig is The The next year in Edinburgh

Just been to see Starsailor at the Ritz. Played their second album Silence is Easy in full followed by 8/9 hits. They are much better live as I am not a huge fan of that album but it did sound good tonight. Musically they are spot on. £20 odd quid, 8.30-10 and home by 10.45. Spot on!

Killers tickets went on sale today. £102 for standing! What an absolute pisstake that is. Doing 4 nights at the Co-op arena and unsurprisingly not sold out!
