On way back from AC/DC absolutely brilliant, much better than I expected

James and Johnny Marr last night at Lytham, nice sunny day and 2 great performances, didnt bother with the Inspirals.

Other half just bought me ticket for Bruce Springsteen at wembley in July (late birthday present). Seen him few times before with 1st being 40 years ago at Slane castle

Going to see him there as well , we are going on the Thursday , went to Madrid in June to see him as well , still as good as ever .

Lucky so and sos, Hope you enjoy. I've been in 2 minds about trying to see him (even if I could get a ticket) - feeling he's too old and the E street band can't be the same - but I see ghd reviews for this tour have been really good.

Still as good as the first time I saw them way back in the 80s , the Madrid concert in June was one of the best I’ve seen him do and he is in his 70s now , such energy on stage not just him but the whole band. I’ve seen 3 concerts so far on this tour and can’t wait for Wembley , different set lists each time but still plays the classics .

Just been to see Noel G at Robin Park Wigan. Excellent as always. Lottery winners supporting. Quirky band them but got the crowd warmed up with some great tunes.

Just bought tickets to see the Live band ie one surviving member of Love plus Baby Lemonade in Bristol August 1st. I think they played Manchester while I was away.

Luckily I have relatives in Bristol so it can coincide with my annual visit.

Next week ive got Pet Shop Boys on Wednesday, Alkaline Trio on Friday, Bruce Springsteen On Saturday. Not a massive fan of any of them really but ive never seen PSB or The Boss live and they're getting on a bit

Went to the Temple that is Wembley Stadium to worship with the rock n roll preacher Bruce Springsteen last night. 39 years to the month after the first time I saw him electrify the old stadium.

Astonishing performance given the guy is 74. Played for over 3 hours without a break and sang his heart out. The E Street Band remain tighter than City’s budgetary control.

Simply magnificent.
