Gin

Like some have already mentioned, can't go past a Hendricks, with tonic and cucumber.

I'm also partial to a Negroni. Not to everyone's taste but I appreciate the bitterness.

Half a dozen of these will get the job done

Tanqueray 10 for me.

It can even be drunk neat. ( try that with Gordon's!)

The only tonic is fever tree of course. Regular or elderflower.

Sorry Denis, the only tonic for me is Nordic, bloody hard to get in the UK though.

Also try Bulldog gin with a slice of orange peel. Kin lovely.

Cant stand the stuff, as soon as it hits the back of my throat I throw up, absolutley vile stuff

I used to use a brand in Spain called 'Larius' to disinfect my bar tops at the end of the night. Worked out cheaper than the stuff you're meant to use and did a better job. Fuck knows what it was doing to the insides of those drinking it!

Cant stand when they put cucumber in it, seems to overpower everything.
Love Gin, cant beat a Negroni

Ahhh Larios. A mate always brings me a big bottle over from Spain. It must be cheap cos he is a tight git!

It was about 4 euros 15 years ago - might have gone up a couple since then though. :-)

Recently visited Skipton and discovered the V.SQ bar (Victoria Square Gin and Champagne Bar). From their huge choice of gins I treated myself to a Brockmans and Fever Tree Ginger Ale combo. Delicious! Never tried Gin with ginger ale before, a revelation!
