Giorgio Chiellini

Got to admit am a huge fan of Chiellini (and defenders in general). Was watching this video for him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSywNQpiL2Y few days ago and at 2:03 that made me lOOl. I remember that game between Catania and Juve and Catania's player (mascara) was soo frustrated in that game that he just started to pass the ball to he's teammates whenever chiellini faces him.

That video was awesome!! The guys like a stone wall!!! I hope to God he comes to City. Good song in the video too.

seriously, he's great. on his day he's unbeatable, totally dominant. he has his off days too, but this whole 'no-one who's seen him play thinks he's anygood' is a load of youknowwhat. he's better positionally/one-on-one than Lescott (no offence, he's alright), just as good in the air, and anyone who says he is slow is talking gibberish.

he doesn't have that great acceleration over 5 yards that the likes of toure do, but he's very sharp upstairs, and a damn site quicker than Dunne ever was. He could cut it here, there's no doubt in my mind.

Kind of defender we're missing to be honest. No nonense hard as fuck defender and throws himself into every game and every tackle and actually looks quality too.

With Toure away it would be nice to have him in for the United game! Love to see Rooney and Berbatov bouncing off him and hitting the deck (or more realistically, Macheda and Wellbeck)

Giorgio chiiellini would be a good addition to the defence as they looked a little shakey at the back but better than when under hughes!!!!
i watched chiellini the other day and was very steady and the back and is very strong!!!!!
Another defender which i though was good was puyol???

No matter what I think it will be a lot easier for Mancini to get big names such as Georgio to sign for us than it was for Hughes. Mancini has got a bigger name for him....
