Don't think Militao has signed for us. We've been linked with him, but we haven't signed him as far as I know. I know he's a centreback playing for Sao Paulo, but I've never seen him play, so I don't know how good he is. I only saw him playing few times and this was after those international transfer links started in Brazil because Sao Paulo is not watchable.Don't think Militao has signed for us. We've been linked with him, but we haven't signed him as far as I know. I know he's a centreback playing for Sao Paulo, but I've never seen him play, so I don't know how good he is. I think @Divino da Guia is Brazilian, maybe he knows something?
First i need to say that i dont like to check stats i only trust my eyes in the case of young players.
Based in what i watched my opinion is this:
1 - He is strong, elegant and very good with the ball.
2 - Is very good in defense because he was a CB.
3 - Doesn't look like a Brazilian full back in the attack.
4 - Too good to be wasted as a CB, not good enough for a Brazilian full back.
5 - Is not a special talent ready to play in the highest level in; imo.
The generation of young wingers and midfielders looks great, but i can't see any full back that is special in the moment.

Even so, doesn't seems to be a player we would need. Maybe as a backup cb.
