Within the next 2 years,Charlie will be the best keeper in the world.when you listen to the like's of corrigan,banks,clemence you know he is going to be.
If we have to lose one then it is Shay given (haha) his age.
Maybe there is a deal to be done where they both get lots of games this season and share the number 1 role but the understanding is that Shay gradually becomes the acknowledged number 2 from next season but still getting plenty of games and his role transitions to a coaching role over the next say 3 seasons on the same money in the meantime.

I empathise to some extent,him being 34 and in the latter part of his carear.But he is IMO out of order jumping the gun here and its piss poor timing to start rocking the boat.At the end of the day he has just got over a bad injury and if we didn;t have Hart we would almost certainly have braught in a world class keeper in the closed season.He needs to find that comon sense I;m sure he;s got,be patient,get fitter,perform well in cups and training,then,revue his thoughts at the end of next season.

I think for Mancini to keep his 25 players and stick with it. Nobody of them will allow to move this season. Toward end of this season, he can know who will be permanent starting line-up, who drop to substitute.
If Given or Joe want to know their future, just say no decision until end of this season.
All 25 in Mancini list will be here to try in who suit most to the plan, teammate and new system.
Robinho, Bellamy, Ade, SWP to name the few, has to be here for this season to try their best. And in middle of season I think Mancini can say who is his faverite in each position, then who cannot make it to starting line-up can leave if really want in next summer.
This is the best for the club.

Pisses me off when players leave clubs to another club to challenge for silverware,and at the first sign that there egos are pushed they start whinging and moaning.If Given had been that good all year (which he was not ) he would be number one.Sorry but for me we should sell Given and entice David James back for back up to Hart.

Will we sell Hart to who has been outspoken more than once this season? What he said, more than once, was worse. Based on his strop we should tottally sell Hart.
No keeper is happy to play no 2. You've 2 of the best keepers in the league, like I've said you wont keep them both happy and one will probably be gone by Christmas. It's the premiership, a professional league, what do ye expect. It's a business based, professional sport, and ye act like it's still amateur. Ye can't have it both ways.

Both players are contracted to us, they go only if we let them and I think Mancini needs to point that out. We want two great players in every position goalkeeper is no different.

Having 2 excellent strikers is one thing, they're easily rotated. But not with keepers. It's not fair to ask one of them to sit on the bench, both are too good for it. See this is what happens in the professional business that is football.
