Happened a couple of years ago and was in the MUEN as the guy got a ticket. The ticket was valid as you’re still not allowed to go into a bus lane.

As harsh/unfair as it may seem in some circumstances,it's simple.....if you break any road traffic laws you will be penalized accordingly.
