Glasto 2014

Yuuuuk why would anyone want to go there? The toilet situation is enough to keep me away and no it's not an age thing would never have gone in my 20's either like creature comforts too much!

Quite like dolly but is she about 70 now??

Out of all of them I like 4, Kasbian, The Manics, Arcade Fire and John Newman. Never even heard of half of dem. Fuck me I'm getting old.

I'd rather watch Justin Bieber than Kasabian mince about pretending to be Mancunian.

Some of the acts would have been good to see 20/30/40 years ago, I'll give them that.

Some precious miserable buggers on here. There are hundreds of acts at Glastonbury all day. The main bands and headliners are just a part of it. The bands in the afternoons or early evening dont have to be headliners, it can often be a laugh or a chill out. Kenny Rogers did a set in the afternoon last year and he was great, a good sing along and he told a few stories. I would imagine Dolly Parton will be just like that. Ray Davies was another, he did a great afternoon set in recent years. Its just a turn to watch when getting pissed up in the afternoon, hopefully in sunshine.

Im going...cant wait...dying to know who the Saturday headliner is....was hoping for Prince, but doubt it after reading this...

Michael Eavis revealed that it will be "one of the biggest-selling bands in the world at the moment" and reflected daughter Emily Eavis' comments in confirming that the mystery act will be making its first appearance at Worthy Farm.

Eavis said: "We are expecting to announce the full line-up at the beginning of May and everything is now in place. We are more than happy with the calibre of the acts and the headliner on Saturday will be one of the biggest-selling bands in the world at the moment."

The missus went to work that night, leaving me the usual list of orders;

On her return, she started;

"Did you take the kids to the park?"

"No"

"Have you cleaned the kitchen?"

"No"

"Have you hoovered?"

"No"

"Have you brought my washing in?"

"No"

"Have the kids been bathed?"

"No"

"What the fuck have you been doing?"

"Drinking Stella and watching Kenny"

She wasn't best pleased.

If it's Oasis I'd purchase a ticket.
