Glastonbury 2019

Anyone else on here going to Glastonbury this year?

I will be there with the whole family (all now over 18).

Been the last two with the eldest and camped but back in the campervan this year. Bit mixed about that as I always thought I would hate camping until I tried it now I think I might miss it. We're in the West van field so will probably spend more time at the Park than the last couple of times, especially 2016 when the mud stopped me getting up there at all.

All about the women for me this year - Little Simz, Lizzo, Kate Tempest, Christine and the Queens and Kylie - oh and Lekkido Lord of the Lobsters, obviously.

Always had a good time. First started going in 2009 when the eldest 2 were 17 and 20 and we got our '75 VW Van. I think this is number 7 for me. We have now got a Transit conversion now which is less fun but much more comfortable. I do miss the smiles we got in the old van but prefer the miles we get in this one :-)

There's a local lad playing in the Rabbit Hole on Saturday at 2 - Dave Fidler, he's been touring with John Bramwell (I am Kloot). Singer songwriter, very good and nice bloke to boot so if you are at a loose end.

Me, in a group of 12. Pretty fortunate we all managed to get a ticket. My first one, pretty buzzing for it. Grown up with stories from my dad going back in the day so whilst its not quite the same im sure it will be a top week.

You'll love it...its amazing....pick a handful of "must sees", and just wing the rest of it.....and bring decent shoes :-)

Never mind that; will the hip, cool and trendy Red Jezza be there? He's very popular with the Glastonbury aficionados.

i was there in 2017 when he made an appearance....we had to choose between going to see him, or going to see Busted...

:-)

I am there, but got to get a coach from Lincoln.
Managed to get a ticket in the coach resale, 15 minutes after the sold out sign went up.
Would have been fucked if I had not got one as I had paid to hire a campervan (Am in West). Mate is going down in CV while I get on coach.
Not much for me on the line up this year. Hot Chip, Chemical Brother and Wu Tang clash is a killer.
Will have a ball none the less.
