That penultimate sentence really did make me lol. Sums it all up very well I’d say.Headliners are there to fill the crowd for the last gig of the night. I doubt most of the Glastonbury crowd would pay to see Ross or McCartney in concert on their own.
Sure McCartney was a bit suss but you got your moneys worth.
Diana Ross out of tune but a cracking band.
If you ever get to go then you'll see a multitude of stuff you'd never usually see or listen to. All part of the experience.
The BBC can't cover all of it. So we get what they think is a general broad mix.
Personally Elbow can fuck off but that's not the point. You'd wander about and see other stuff.
