Glastonbury 2022 (Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar headlining)

At the last festival there was 79 stages.

The lineup released is less than 3% of the performance over the festival.
I'm aware there's a multitude of small stages around the site. And that a lot of the buzz generated at the festival is at those stages. But a lot of people will go with the intention of seeing the headline act(s). And you won't see them on a side stage.

Nobody is buying tickets to Glastonbury with the intention of seeing specific headliners, the festival is long sold out before they're even announced. I've been numerous times I've never seen more than 1 pyramid Headliner per year, sometimes none.

Oh yeh wow, Cressida we just have to do this, I mean like, Paul McCartney, he's so cool and a vegan.
Lets take the range rover, book a glamping pod, get the au pair to buy some wellingtons for us and we can be so 90's

Can't wait to see Pet Shop Boys headline the other stage on the Sunday night.

One band I am yet to see, but have always wanted to.

I'd have watched them (or Kendrick Lamar who they clash with) but Courtney Barnett is playing the same time as them both and I can't see any of us wanting to miss out on her no matter what state we're in

We set off this morning, just gone past cheltenham. Plan is to sink a few ciders in glastonbury town today then get some sleep for an early queue and set up tomorrow. Can't wait

There's probably more bands in that line up that I would like to see than any other line up that I can remember.
Still wouldn't listen to any of the headliners though.

That’s right, that's right, that's right, that's right......

A true classic of the 70s. Christ, that guitarist (the Tommy Caton lookalike) had a weird sense of "style".
Rob Davis
Co-wrote "Can't get you out of my head" with Cathy Dennis for Kylie
