Glastonbury 2023

Sir Elton has just been confirmed as a headline act. Never have I been so pleased to have not applied for tickets… that’s if they’ve gone on sale yet!

Gutted I'm not going now. Elton John ending his farewell tour on the Pyramid Stage on a Sunday sounds incredible.

Does the organiser not know that modern music exists? Always seems to be a washed up headliner these days rather than the cutting edge
To be fair Billie Eilish & Kendrick Lamar both headlined this year (along with McCartney), id say they were pretty modern.

Well they had Stormzy a few years ago, I think they are trying to get them in before they die, expect the Rolling Stones next year.

Hardly washed up, but I have never had the slightest intereest in Glastonbury anyway, especially this buy tickets before the line up announced how can the festival be bigger than the bands,if you want cutting edge there are plenty of other better festivals,I'd like to have seen Elton John but one of those I've left too late.

tried to get tickets last month, 2 hrs online not a chance in hell i was getting one.

To be fair, I wouldn’t call most of the acts they get in the Sunday legends slot as “washed up”.
