Glastonbury 2023



This is amazing. They've gone 'Okay, Elton, Arctic Monkeys, Guns n Roses, great lineup there'. Then realised it's all white men, panicked and chucked in Lizzo as a 'headliner' last minute.
 
Proper bands headlining good, looking really forqward to this years, last few years havent been great from my pov, bit too pop industry than rock music, but I'm not a fan of Kanye or Eilish or lamarr. tbh its been poor since the Cure headlined.

The kind of people who listen to Kanye and Eilish don't usually have much interest in standing through a whole set by them. The artist starts playing one of their more obscure songs and half the crowd thinks 'don't know this one, next please'. Because it's only the radio hits they really care for.

Something for everyone there. Will make it when the kids are bigger.
Off to bearded theory for the first time this year. Normally do kendal calling but it's going very reading & leeds.
 
Hot Chip, Sparks Alison Goldfrap, Kelis, Nova Twins and Leftfield. Lots of things there for me, with so much more to come.
