Preaching to the choir/festival audience for clout and fame.

Having political views is one thing. Calling for the death of military folk is another thing. If he feels that strongly, there's a well known terrorist group that'll accept him joining to try and kill those he wants killing.

Standing on stage shouting it to festival goers is the work of a moron looking for acceptance.

If that's why his set won't be online, its a shame.

The festival should just say the BBC have rights to broadcast the festival and if you play, you don't dictate the broadcast. Otherwise more and more acts might start doing it, especially high profile acts who don't necessarily need the exposure and the ability to view the festival will start becoming more limited.

I know the likes of the Stones and McCartney were broadcast an hour later than real time, so they could have their audio edited, vocals pitch corrected etc. To sound much better, rather than going out live at the time, warts n all. McCartney wouldn't allow and very close up camera shots of his face.
