George Monbiot is know as Moonbat, probably because he once said that flying the Atlantic is a crime comparable to child abuse. He's typical of nutty eco-hysterical people.

Like many eco-types he's posh and live in some style in a nice Welsh farmhouse even though he thinks that everyone else should consider living on new eco-housing built on brownfield sites in inner cities. A couple of years ago he bought a car despite years of telling everyone else not to have one.

Have you not seen the news over the weekend, we are victims of one of the largest scandals ever.

We have been told that emissions were causing the planet to warm up, after the climate research house was hacked and the emails leaked it shows that data was 'made up', that records were deleted, it had in it's possession data that showed the world was not warming. They distorted press coverage and found ways to smear the climate change sceptics.

the greatest threat to humans is uncontrolled population expansion.unwanted pregnancy in the developed world,poverty driven pregnancy in the rest. less people equals sustainable future. i suspect it will be easier to mine the moon than change peoples attitude to religion and poverty. Big Oil,Big Pharma and Big Religion stand in the way of meaningful change,they effectively run the world . The green movement has been hi-jacked by so many vested interests ( not least governments) that it has lost all credibility.A shame as they cant all be Luddites. There are more people alive today than have ever lived ,scary .

The weather is changing and the ice cap at the North Pole is shrinking. However the ice cap at the South pole is thickening. It's all to do with the Earth's axis changing.
Naturalist's are telling us that the polar bear is under threat. Actually there are more polar bears in the wild than there have ever been.

Did you know that in 1783 there was a massive volcano eruption in Iceland and every day for three years the volcano spewed the equivalent of Europe's 1996 total Co2 emissions into the atmosphere. So that's a 1000 years of modern day European pollution in a three year time period and the human race survived and so did the polar bears.

Kind of off topic but aren't we due a 'polar switch' soon? I would imagine that will have a fairly large impact on the planet.
