But to answer your questions, I'm a loyal blue of many years standing and I support my club because they're my club, not because they win things (although we do now and I enjoy it). No doubt you'll claim you're a Mancunian and have had a season ticket in the Stretford End for 30 years but in my experience the people most bitter are those who support your team simply because of their success. I worked and lived down in Lonson for a while andvirtually all of the blues there had a Manchester connection. Plenty of loyal blues all around the country and it's the same for most teams.
I'm proud to have an owner who puts money into the club and local community rather than on who rips the club off for over £500m. One is is welcomed like a hero instead of having to be smuggled into the ground in a police van.
One day we might indeed become everything we despise in you and some think we're going that way now. But some of us will still remember the tears of relegation in 1983, 1998 & other years. Were you around in 1974 to see your team's only relegation in the lasy 50 years? If they'd had a recent history like ours would you still be supporting them?

I'm not saying that poster was definitely telling the truth but you have absolutely no evidence whatsoever to prove he/she was lying.
Either way, every club has fans that are guilty when it comes to lying and there's been more than enough whoppers spouted by some of the mouth-breathers amongst your own support down the years so to imply that it's confined to City's support is downright fucking ridiculous. Believe me, I could tear many United fans to shreds when it comes to stating facts and that includes plenty of the clowns that post on Red Issue.
