best pressie i got yesterday was a few hours playing with my grandson. Priceless.

Chocolates, new City polo shirt, deodorant (trying to tell me something!), new Neil Diamond CD, and a Bentley wallet.
Best was a credit size copper plaque saying:
"Our Dad. Our Hero. Our World.
The greatest gift we've had was to be adopted by you and Mum.
Love isn't just true in Fairytales!
Thanks for always being there.
Love Suzii and Gemma xXx"
What makes it more poignant is that, on the plinth of my wife's grave is the inscription "I thought love was only true in fairy tales", the first line of a famous Monkees/Neil Diamond song.
Cried when I read it, and in tears as I'm typing this.
Merry Christmas!!

Despite constant reminders and numerous requests I still didn't get the two things I've been hinting at for years; the continuum transfunctioner and a spiderman outfit with web shooters in the arms. So a divorce is imminent.
Did have a fantastic day and night though. And also a set of new tools for PC repair and electronics. Also got one of those hangovers that isn't there until you move your head ever so slightly in any fucking direction.
