Go sober for October...

Drinking is a life style choose and I plump for drink. When I was on call it was quite nice to have a week off the sauce, but I was in the pub Monday evening after the week.

I remember giving up alcohol once. Easily the most miserable morning of my life.

and another thing. I don't drink between 00:00 and 19:00 Monday to Friday. That's nearly giving up!!!!!!!!

No chance - I'm off to SW France for a week - all that wine! - and I've still got fines to pay from "show your member in September" Never again!!!

Can all fuck off.

Drink, don't drink. No one cares. And don't try to con other people out of their cash because you decided to show some self restraint

Not for me - Darts tonight = booze
Friday - sunday = booze

Brother coming down to visit = booze

you get the idea....not a chance but the wife is trying to give up smoking = earache=booze to numb it!!

Thinking about it, they want us to stop drinking in October and then come November 1st they want us to grow a tash, and the ladies have Fanuary, will there be any spare months in the near future where we can do just what "we" want...

to help raise money for Macmillan cancer - an excellent cause and no great hardship to stay off the booze for 31 days, then give what you would have spent on alcohol to the charity.

with the way some on here drink they could save enough to wipe cancer out completly.

Mrs and her co workers all doing it ....... and as they all work for a brewery, no mean feat. Good luck to them.

Though she is back on it for Ian McNabb's gig (with full band) at Ruby Lounge on Halloween .....

Ha. Glad I'm not the only miserable bastard thinking the same thing.
