Me too. Same with Garcia (going to Barca) and Chevalier (linked with United and Villa). If we sell Ederson and go with Costa instead of one of the three above, I'd be slightly disappointed tbh.

Same with Asmir Begovic. He left Everton at the end of the season. No idea if he still wants to be a footballer, or a footballer who plays, but he is available and home grown.

Bravo, Onana, Sanchez, and Karius are perfect examples of the importance of your keeper not being liability that ruins the team. I don’t think we can rely on Ederson, but not sure there are available alternatives.

Onana was absolute quality at Inter, would have been a great Eddie replacement before they ruined him.

I tend to agree. His passing might actually be better than Ortega and he can kick the fuck out of the ball. I'm not sure he isn't a better overall GK than Ortega.

He was great in a few games at the end of the season, but this also highlights just how poor he has been on occasions earlier in the season. If he played like the last few games consistently all season, then we definitely would be desperate to keep him.
