Always been the case, when we were mumming and doing a penny for the guy we always targeted our council estates, as those in the posher homes wouldn't give you a light!

Everybody seems to be at it these days especially for funerals.

It has become the norm these days to pass on what was once your financial responsibility and the growing trend is some folk have become so entitled that they expect everyone else to pay for it.
Why bother enrolling in a life savings policy? Spend the money now and ask everyone to fund the bill for anything that happens as and when needed, Live for today, not tomorrow!

I went to a local supermarket the other month and it felt like I was at FC United watching a game. Kids (with a few adults) shaking buckets for a school fundraiser. I asked what the money was for and it was to support a school trip to Paris!
Cheeky twats! I get it when some schools organise a car wash event or a collection of bottles and cans (where they get the 5c deposit on each one back) as they are offering a service in return of the donation but simply standing outside shaking a bucket asking folk to subsidise their jolly to Paris is taking the piss and not teaching the students about living in the real world.
Or maybe they are and this is now the real world?

On a classic group I am a member of on Facebook a bloke from America proudly advertised his newly set up GFM page which was asking for donations to fund his car restoration. He soon got told to do one.

An acquaintance of mine shall we say has just lost a parent and setup one of these go fund me thing for the funeral, they live in a 5 bedroom detached house and drive an x5 her an x3. It’s a fucking piss take.

I know who it is but tbf to him he didn't share it on here and it was only for friends and family. Not sure of the point of the gofundme tbh, why not just discreetly ask people to borrow money?
