Going to away games on your own

I wish I could watch a video of me going on my own. I used to go to the pub where everyone was without knowing anyone and just start songs. In the ground I used to just go to the back and start songs.

Now I've got to do the same thing, but make sure Felix doesn't make too much of a twat of himself :)

I have been to loads of away games on my own.
Once you get the the stadium or the near by pubs you will usually end up chatting to somebody.

only shit part is if you end up travlin back on your own and end up on a train full of other teams fans, its can be quite intense lol

Worst time I had was when I first moved to kent and went to see city at millwall and travelled back on a train packed with millwall.

I was surprisingly quiet

Went to Boro away in the cup last season on my own. Fucking mission or what!

went to the same game! On my own as well! As if the snow wasn't bad enough, I had a puncture on the way and missed the first half an hour. Didn't even get chance to see AJ either.

Go to all the NE games on my own and always end up chatting to someone, never had less than a great day out.

I travel to more than 95% of the away games on my own, went to Poznan on my own. I travel by train, plane or car. Nothing to it, you always meet someone to talk to. Although I went on Spike's trip for Salzburg and for Turin I was on my own but everyone is always very friendly.

Off to Villa and Birmingham on my own. Mind you I am making a weekend of it as I have relations in Brum so I will meet up with them for a couple of nights.

Apart from Newcastle I have been to all the away matches this season and I intend to get to all the rest except the Rags.

As I say nothing to it.

Edit: Whoops I 'lied', I bought the ticket, the train ticket and was preparing for a marathon overnight return from the Arsenal match the other week but was taken ill the day before so I missed it. Was gutted. Cost me about £80 all told and couldn't reclaim any of it!! Sorry, didn't mean to mislead you.

I've been to a few on my own, and generally bumped into at least a couple of people I knew.

And when I didn't, everyone else is a friendly enough bunch so it's easy to find someone to have a laugh and a sing song with.
