Going veggie.

The peppered quorn steaks are good! Often go to £1 on offer in the Morrison fresh section and surprisingly filling.

Love the steak and gravy pies Quorn do as well ha!
Not seen them will have a look next time I go in ,not seen the pies either assume they are frozen ?

Yep and 6 out of 7 dwarfs aren't happy !
The Grumpy one must be a veggie.

When we were in Barcelona 2 years ago for the game, my mate had researched bars that sold "real" beers. One bar did food, so I had a burger, only to be told it was vegan (not veggie). Hmmm, I thought, I'm a confirmed carnivore, but was ravenous and so had one. The most tasty burger I've ever had!!

I could never be a veggie, I love meat too much. In fact, any dish that offers salad as an accompaniment receives the instruction "no salad please".

I went to an all you can eat Thai buffet at lunch time in London a couple of years ago. I told the waitress I couldn't work out whether each dish was lamb or chicken but it tasted funny. She told me it was a veggie restaurant. It was iffy before I knew it was a meat substitute. After I knew I couldn't touch it.
Saying that, I'm happy with a veggie lasagna, beans on toast, cheese and tomato pizza, so that's three nights out of seven sorted. It's the three curries and a chilli I couln't miss on the other nights..

As we said before mate the quorn mince is nicer than proper mince and makes excellent chilli.

My wife's family are all Buddhists, took me to a veggie restaurant for a Sunday lunch a year or so ago and I was thinking wtf am I in for here? The first thing I noticed was that the place was alcohol free, having become accustomed to the legendary Friday brunches in Dubai that was quite a shock to my system. However, once I got a plate load of veggie stuff, it was surprisingly tasty (we've been back a few times since then).

I had a lovely rib eye steak in the Dalian Blue Frog last Tuesday night though :)

nearly all the animals I eat are vegetarian, those chickens eat a lot of worms though
