Has had back problems, and we all know that they are prone to come back with a slight mistake. No doubt he's a good player, but I'd be dubious about it.

in my opinion, Gonzalo Higuain is as good as cavani (if not better). surprises me that more people havnt mentioned him as a striking target. Higuain is younger, world cost less and has just as good a scoring record (in a superior league) than cavani.

I would take Higuain in an absolute heartbeat

I've watched Higuain a lot and he is fantastic. Hi stats are great, he was great under Manny, and recently he has been great in the CONMEBOL qualifiers. He is the leading scorer with 9 goals. His link up play with Aguero would not be a problem and same with any other of our players since he came from La Liga. Cavani is too expensive for a player who scores in a counter-attacking team. I'd say We are better suited for Higuain. Also, ForzaMancini said that Txiki said there is no interest in Cavani.

Apparently news from Real Madrid is that they are willing to offload Higuain to PSG but only if they take Kaka as well in a double deal.

agree that Kaka is way past his best and I would not want him at City, but this may now be an opportunity for us to try and sign Higuain and maybe send Dzeko in as part of the deal.

Why don't we see if they want Wayne Bridge too?

I am seriously getting fooked off with people on here sayin we should throw dzeko in on every deal . This transfer forum is actually pissin me off as a whole . I look on here to see if we are progressing on any signings but just see loads of posts from members playing football manager . They say things as if our boys doin the wheeling and dealing will see it and say "oh! That's a good idea, we'll do that ".

From what Tolm is saying Cavani may be fading from our target list, but I personally would love to see Higuain team up with Kun (rather than Cavani). I reckon the Argentinian connection would be brilliant. Price wise Higuain is much better value for money.

Much better value for money than Cavani.

Higuain, Isco, Fernandinho, Jesus Navas all in one window would be superb business. Potentially a couple of other additions too. Happy days.
