Good feeling about Anfield

It's possible, ofcourse, but for me not likely, wasn't confident before last night, especially since we lost Vinnie and Silva aswell as the ACON players.

The biggest thing though is that the scousers are absolutely desperate to get some silverware, ANY silverware, and at any cost, the worst thing that could have happened in this tie (or virtually any match they play in) was for them to get a lead, as we saw last night what they were prepared to do to retain that lead, I don't think that attitude will change in the return leg unless we score first, this means everything to them this season.

Knowing where you are, I bet you got some stick last night Steve lol?

Wont be easy but definately not over yet.

At least we know how to approach the game, also Liverpool may have one eye on the FA cup game against scum at the weekend

i'll take 3-1

nasri winner in our end, just to shut them bin dippers up from last night!

Would fancy a full strength City no problem, but with the players that will be,and likely to be out at Anfield, then the Mickeys will get their big day out at Wembley.

Liverpool will hedge their bets and we'll fucking demolish them.

You heard it here first - 3-0

I hope your right...I just don't think you are though...we are in a rut at present and I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, knowing our luck when the light does appear it will be a fucking train.

Mancini will be up for the replay and he'll be instilling this resolve into the players so I think it's going to be interesting to say the least.
This could be a real grudge match and it will be interesting how the boys in blue respond it could be a massacre at anfield.

Talk of demolitions and massacres at Anfield are over the top to say the least. Facts are we are in our 'rut'. Was always going to happen so its no suprise. On our day, with a full strength team yes we can do the business and with style. But with injuries, suspensions etc we struggle. IMO this so called 'super squad' we have aint as good as the media, fans etc make out. The names look good on paper (if your playing FIFA 12) but I question whether some of them have the quality. Kolarov appears to be a good guy but he would struggle to get a game ahead of Mark Lees at Altrincham F.C.

Its how you respond when times are tough which is how you measure a teams/squads calibre so time will tell.

On a separate issue, how Gerrard could defend that tackle last night is beyond me, anyone with half a brain could see it was on a par if not worse than Vinnie's. Well done Mancini for giving it him back.

I've got a £20 bet saying we make the final after last night. All they did was score fron a penalty be it 3 great saves forn big Joe. With Silva back and hopefully Balotelli back to full fitness it will happen

We need to score early for sure. Then it's game on.

If the Bin Dipper set up a little more defensively and we get an early goal it will give them a big problem.

We can still win this doubt.

We will have to chase the game but certainly be more positive than we were tonight - one mistake and we are fooked
We go into the game needing 2 goals to win. And even if they score again, we still only need 2 goals to win (albeit after 120 mins).
