When I was a kid the best place to eat was the UCP on Market St, pudding and chips upstairs then a nice piece of Honeycomb tripe from the shop downstairs for tea.

My old man told me that UCP stood for United Cow Products, no fancy fucking marketing in those days!

Best place I have been to of late, but lets face it Manchester is a culinary wilderness, how a city of this size has no Michelin starred restaurants is pretty embarrassing!
