Good result.

We have just got 7 out of 9 points away at WBA,Fulham, and Stoke places where many top teams come unstuck that in itself is excellent, and is the type of form championship winning teams produce however saying that a true team ready to win the championship would have shut the game out and taken the 3 points , why do we never get that last minute crucial goal to turn the loss into draw and draw into a win and why when we got a throw in down the left in injury time didnt we do what stoke had been doing all game and get the towel out and waste 30 seconds .However sort out the home form and we are not to far away

Seen all of the home games this season and tbh as much as I hate The Shit they looked better than you against us, maybe its because game defining decisions go their way BUT they seem to have the grit needed to win games....

yhp, I'm happy, we'd have lost that game a year ago, yeah Kolo may have made an error but he's normally a rock for us, stop the knee-jerking it's silly.
My prob is that we were losing last season and rescued a point - you could say that showed more character

2bh I think it showed plenty of character to take the lead battling hard when we weren't at our best and I think the equaliser at the end was just unfortunate really, mistakes happen, I don't think it's worth really pulling out our hair or dropping players over it.

How is this a good result? Arsenal won, United scored 7, and we drew against Stoke. I mean for fuck sake. We had the game won 1 min before the end.

A point is better than nothing. Fine. But lets not pretend this is anything more than it is, an awful result which wasn't lost because of a better team, but because of mistakes from the likes of Hart and Toure.

In one way it's good we got a point, they all count, but the "top teams" would have not conceded that goal, not that late in the game. Average from most. In general it's not good enough.

No. Its not a good result is it?

We were 90 seconds away from 3 points and we leave with 1.

Think about it.

I agree BtheB. Was a good result LAST season. We should be taking the whole three points, and the fact that we could have lost the one we got says as much about how good we are, regardless of the quality of football that gets played.

I regard a point at Stoke as a good result regardless.

Arsenal also lost last weekend, and Blackburn pulled their undies down and begged for anal rape by United, so nothing we can do about it.

Let's concentrate on our own season for once.

I am concentrating on our own season, my point is that the others won today, we lost more ground..again.
And I'm sorry but on one hand we're hoping to challenge for the top, and on the other we regard a point at Stoke a good result.
Which City are we supposed to be, because that is the attitude of old, and there's absolutely no way whatsoever, that we should consider that a good result. It's the bare minimum we'll take.

The way I see it at the moment is that we are the team everyone wants to beat, we're the little rich kids that everyone wants to put down. This doesn't happen to United or Chelsea, teams turn up already beaten when they are playing them because they expect to get beat. Until we win something and produce the Fulham first half display on a regular basis teams like Stoke will continue to up their game that extra level rather than bending over and taking it like Blackburn appear to have done today.

At the moment I just don't think we are feared like your traditional top 3 teams (discounted Liverpool as they have gone so far down hill) until we win a couple of pots this will be the case. Once the trophies begin to role in I think our fortunes in games like this will change.

well you're just arrogant thinking we should win every game and that it's unacceptable if we don't.

Nobody goes to Stoke and scores a great win, United steal them, so do Chelsea, we just made a mistake at the end that cost us.

We should focus on winning our home games as our away form is more than good enough at the moment. Our home form isn't.
