Good result.

Stoke were the better side and a win for Man city would have been real hard on them. Begovic had nothing to do all game and felt he should have saved the goal you scored.

Losing Pennant meant Stoke losing their shape until Tuncay moved up front. Despite a 10 minute spell when Man City had a lot of ball they caused us no problems at all. Great we got a late goal but overall is two points dropped for Stoke I feel based on the 90 minutes
Don´t know what 2nd half you were watching pal coz that´s tosh - as for your fans booing when the opposition is keeping possession and showing you fookin inbred coonts how football should be played tells me your fans are not very bright (to put it mildly!)

To get a point away at Stoke is a good result for a team who wants to challenge for a top 4 slot. Today blew away my unrealistic expectations that we might have had a shot at the title this season, I truly believe that whilst we have the players, we simply don't have the will to win or the grit and determination to grind out wins. Hopefully that will come as the squad beds in.

So no title, but on the evidence of our top 4 rivals, that is not a bad result against Stoke.
At the moment, it doesn't feel like a good result. A so-so performance, but two minutes away from 3 valuable points. We have to compare what our rivals have done/will do at Stoke (we are competing with those rivals for a top 4 (top 3?) spot. IIRC, Spurs have won there already this season, as have Norwich. Liverpool lost there (Liverpool are shite this season though), and i can't remember Arsenal or Chelsea playing there yet (too lazy to check). I guess 1 point is better than fuck all, but to be that close to all 3; very frustrating.

Norwich? Spurs were very fortunate to win- in fact we dominated them and was that 'goal' in the 94th minute that was clearly over the line.

Arsenal and Chelsea yet to come.

No. Its not a good result is it?

We were 90 seconds away from 3 points and we leave with 1.
I couldn't have summed it up better myself. Sitting back on 1 goal is foolish in this league and Mancini better learn that sooner rather than later.

If you are 1-0 down with only injury time to play , and struggling to even get hold of the ball , you can hardly think it's two points 'dropped' surely?

You got out of jail .....

City had 53% of the overall possession ...... and although Fuller should have scored in the first half, and Milner scrambled one off the line in the second , you hardly deserved to win it yourselves!

What game did you watch? Total domination in the second half, all Stoke did was hoof the ball up every single time and either hope they got possession or got Delap a throw-in because he can't do naff all else. How anyone can watch that shite week in week out is beyond me.

a draw is a decent enough result, considering that stoke are no pushovers, but why is it we seem to meet teams who hit a run of form at the right time, stoke being one good recent results, next week bolton playing out of their skin, then onto west ham who will be lifted after todays win over wigan....

Poor performance first half and tempo yet again too slow.I would have taken a point before the game so pretty pleased but once again we lose points with 90 seconds left. That why we haven't got a chance of winning the league. It happens too often to us and very rarely happens for us!!
