Has it not occurred to anyone that Robinho rented a house?

He's put his stuff in storage until he gets back in August. This story is the usual bollocks from the dailyfail.

Robinho will have a brilliant world cup and return to City a more mature player ready to star in the Premier league. I can't wait to see the real Robinho playing with commitment in a City shirt. Anyone that doesn't want to see that is lost in petty jealousy and bitterness. Robinho is an exceptional footballer and we will need him where we are going.

Well said.

It's disturbing to see how many people get so p**sed off about him. There is no doubt he experiences some trouble maintaining ideal form on the pitch for us, but that is no excuse for people to constantly bash him like that. I remember reading someone post here before "Only City could have one of the best players in the world, slate him when he's out of form after an injury and possibly drive him out of the club. He's an easy target and no wonder he isn't playing well."

If you are too ignorant to not realize his class, take one look at a Brazilian-international match, and you will see the real player he is. He is a star player and expects to be treated that way, as someone else mentioned last season when we were all behind him he was playing better than this season (yes even though squad changes, manager etc.).

Form is temporary, class is permanent.[/quote]

That is very true, Robinho has individual skills as good as any player out there, but that 's were it stops imo.

The wrong league for him, he's not got the right mentality or physical prowess to be consistantly good, flashes of individual brilliance yes but thats it.

I doubt very much that we will see him back at City.

Although I would loved to be proven wrong, particularly if your prediction proves to be correct.

Anyone who questions his class is a dick. I just dont think hes cut out for the prem. Plus hes not a full quid.

How can he be good enough for Barca when he's not even good enough for us? Perhaps Barcelona know a good player when they see one, and their fans won't be obsessed with him 'tracking back'? One things for sure they won't be in for Craig Bellamy, so you can all rest easy.

Why dont you start posting on a Santos forum. Hes gone get over it. Whats your problem with Bellamy? Your making a cnut of yourself keep crying over Robinho.

He's still officially a City player. He's only on loan at Santos, so no he hasn't gone yet actually. No problem with Bellamy, I just think he's overrated. There's at least a thread a day where people are queuing up to stick the boot in to Robinho, and I reckon it's worthwhile posting from time to time so that people realise that there are some blues out there that still rate him. If I'm becoming known for being very pro-robinho, then that's a description I'm comfortable with. I do know one thing for sure, if he does come back and produces some of the form he's capable of, then the vast majority on here who've slagged him to fuck for months will be stood beside me singing 'we've got Robinho' with gusto.

I base my opinion on what I know, Sharon. Not on what some journalist says to wind people up and sell copy ( though it's obviously worked on here! )

The world cup is looming and Robinho wasn't going to get regular games at City. Mancini told him so. I watched his goodbye video on the OS and there was none of the arrogance or bitterness people are piling on him now.

The manager has said that he expects Robinho back in August. He was well liked by most people within the club and all the rest is just speculation.

I think most thinking fans can see the real value of a fit and motivated Robinho.

While i agree he's a very talented footballer, why can't he get in our side now? i just don't think he can be consistently good enough on a regular basis... he's almost ominus at times which affects us badly. This league is tough, talent comes in more traits than just skill and for me Robie doesn't have all the other necessary tools needed to succed in the prem i think he knows it.

He wants to play for his country in the World Cup, and City have such a team right now he was told he couldn't be guaranteed a game. He just doesn't quite fit our style of play or the Premiership for that matter. Not playing No World Cup.

The sexual assault debacle can hardly have been an enjoyable experience

Of course he loves Santos, it was his local team, the team he first signed for. At the age of seventeen he scored ten goals in his first season helping them win the Brazilian league. Whats not to love. He's loyal to his first team. He didn't just join another team (Barcelona) but went home.

He seemed genuine when saying goodbye to the other players on the video on the City website. He always was a bit of a pain in the arse primadonna, but so are half the team. He always seemed to have a smile on his face and liked travelling around on the bus.

Give the guy a break he's only human.

I can see why you might hold that view, but he had a rape case hanging over him and then a long term injury with only a handful of games after.

Someone in Europe is going to get the real Robinho. I'd just like it to be us.
