That's what medicals are for.

medicals ? LOL

mario is a few of votes for berlusconi. he would have passed the medicals even if he had an amputated leg

oh, ok.
Sounds reasonable when you put it like that

Re: Mario rebuffs the Sun!

Glad he told the English gutter press exactly what he thinks of them. He's a footballer. Why should he give a toss whether outside people understand him or not ? He's not a social study case.

Re: Mario rebuffs the Sun!

If I remember rightly, his time in Italy last time was marred by Racial abuse everywhere he went and I'm wondering what's going to be different this time!

Was 20mil to little for our Mario ??

With these insane inflated prices for teenagers who shows just a flash of potential, isn't 20 million to little for a euro star player with world class potential, one of the top 3 players who gives their club exposures ( yes good and bad, but it all counts ).

Hazard went for 36 mil.
Oscar 26 mil
Lucas Moura 36 mil.

Yes some are in Pounds some in euro, but all in all why do i feel like when we sell players we always do a fucking bad business at getting the prices we want.

So, Galliani said in the presser that they made an offer for Mario and it was rejected.

End of story...

Until the next night, City calls Milan back up and accepts the offer (without the offer being raised or changed)

There's been talk of "why would they sell him" but there seems to be some underlying truths coming out of the woodwork. I admit, a January sale seemed strange... There was either an anticipation of a big signing on City's part (which failed) or they really didnt want him on the squad anymore.

Thoughts?
OK city reject offer but who's to say who called who back. Possibly city were trying to engineer a deal involving el shaarawi and cavani, but were told it wasn't happening until the summer, so they pulled out. Maybe then Milan called back saying they would honour the deal but would take Mario now, perchance because of the elections and some kind of arrangement was agreed?

Re: Was 20mil to little for our Mario ??

unfortunately his reputation, baggage, and everything else that had gone on pushed it down. plus the fact that there was only 1 club who were ever gonna sign him

a tad exaggerated.
There's racism everywhere... The real issue is FIFA dragging their knuckles like a bunch of Klan members.

Not really when you look at the bigger picture. Mario made more headlines of the pitch than on it

Some clubs will look at his antics as a negative thing and might want to reduce the price, but some clubs will look at it as a positive thing and pay more for it.

Mario gives u first class exposure, i am sure Paris would have loved a player like Mario to boost their exposure.
