Happens mate, they're high strung animals, a lot have heart defects. I've 6 ponies and they're nothing but pets, not worked, not run hard anything like that. We still lost one to a heart attack earlier in the year when I was only walking her to fresh pasture. Like it or not the money isn't exactly there to do ECGs on every animal.

That said, Elliot needs a good slap.
