Gotze, Reus & Bale.

Its just hilarious to think that Dortmund would swap Reus with Dzeko. They dont need money, as they are generating records profits and its ridiculous to think, that Reus would leave one year after moving back to his boyhood club.

There is zero chance to get him...or Götze, Gündogan, Hummels, Piszczek, Bender and so on. The only player that will very likely move clubs is Lewandowski and plenty of sources are reporting, that he made a deal with Bayern. BTW the highest earners get around 4-5M€ and Dzeko earns around double IIRC.

I don't think Dortmund players will be lining up to leave at the moment but isn't your last sentence alone proof that there may be more than "zero" chance or are all Dortmund players perfect and immune to human nature of being tempted by the prospect of doubling their wages? I have sensed a certain elitism from Bundesliga fans (and I prefer the Bundesliga to the Premier League in general) but let's not pretend some of these players might not ultimately be tempted away by money. Maybe not all of them, but you can't tell me you know exactly what would go through their minds if they are on €4million a year and suddenly get offered €7million a year by a richer club like City, United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, or PSG. Gundogan's dad has already delayed contract talks with Dortmund, why bother...? We'll see this summer how deep the loyalty is when Barcelona make their push for Hummels.

Reus is what we're missing with bells on........pay him what he wants and get him here, they can have Dzeko and Nasri as makeweight too.

never gonna happen- gotze and rues.

why would they leave dortmund and why would dortmund sell them. Everyone seems to disregard the fact that dortmund are a big team now who can compete with the best. Both players have only this season started to play regularly and are now German internationals.

why not try and do what dortmund do and unearth talent, players like Will hughes and isco are the players we should be looking at, we could have bought Rues last year for barely anything.

I've watched Will Hughes a few times this season and i'm not all that impressed to be honest?

fair enough, Ive watched him too. At 17 he has been very impressive in my eyes, apparently scouts from barca and united have been watching him. If we are looking at buying some young english players then I would sign him.

he is not the final product, but its the potential that is there that is so exciting.

No point in us buying promising 17-year-olds for fees like £8million though until we build an environment in which they can develop. Nastasic was clearly ready made for the job but I doubt someone like Hughes would be. Unless Mancini really likes him, he'd be looking at loads of time on the bench or a spell in the graveyard of promising players, City's U21 team. There is an argument for "young but already quite proven" signings until we can sort out this issue.

You can also add City to the list watching him

He's comfortable enough on the ball and he's a player that plays with his head up and has a good range of passing, which is good at his age.

It's his physical strength that's letting him down at the moment as he gets knocked off the ball too easily, something that could be worked on and improved i suppose?

*LC also makes a valid point in his post above
