I don’t get trains often but the wife does and she thinks virgin are very good, what a bag of shit this govt is.

I avoid them like the plague - its years since I heard someone tell me that the ticket was reasonably priced and that they left and arrived on time in a clean train on which everything worked and the catering was acceptable. I'd rather drive to be honest.

Judging by some of the replies on here, I’d say you’re wrong.

Personally, I’ve been happy using Virgin Trains too, and their offer for travelling blues is a great one too.

So in the spirit of Brexit, the first major rail operating contract on Great Britain’s biggest and busiest line is awarded to the Italian state owned train operating company.
I wonder who’s getting the backhander.

I regularly go to London, advance fares. Dirt cheap, great service, clean fast trains, free WiFi. I thought Virgin offered a great service.
I also go once a year to Edinburgh for the festival by Cross Country. What a nightmare! Crappy old trains, rammed full, bogs not working, stopping at every bloody station.
Then of course, we are bless with Northern round here!!
